Marc is a documentary Director and Producer. He specialises in bringing the best out of on-screen presenting talent, as well as sensitive testimony-driven films. Most recently, he directed every

episode of both seasons of the hit Netflix series, ANCIENT APOCALYPSE, which investigates a radical new theory about human history.

Marc's passion is in finding the emotion and the excitement in the storytelling of real lives, and bringing a creative ambition and visual flair to the style choices that best complement the story, whether it's a long-form film, or a fast-turnaround commission.

Marc did his Masters Degree in Documentary and has spent 30 years working in factual film and television, starting as a Runner and working up to Director. He has also Executive Produced and Series Produced for major broadcasters, and with each project builds a creative environment where every member of the team can bring out the best in themselves and the project.

Marc has worked for Netflix, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, PBS, Smithsonian, BBC,

Channel 4 and Channel Five, and has filmed in a wide variety of challenging environments around the world, from the Amazon to Iraq, from remote corners of China to the jungle in South Africa, and from the Himalayas to Yellowstone, as well as across the UK.

His long list of credits ranges from compelling crime stories, social history and hard science, to music and the arts. For example:

In 'DRUG LORDS: JAMAICA'S NARCO PRINCE' (Netflix), Marc's interviews with participants on both sides of the fence tells the story of the rise and fall of Christopher Coke.

He directed several episodes of 'DRAIN THE OCEANS' (National Geographic), which explores the dramatic stories of underwater explorations and shipwrecks.

In the feature-length music film, 'ANDA UNION', Marc follows a young Mongolian music group on a journey of discovery across their homeland, in a film that premiered at the London Film Festival.

In 'MIRACLE OF THE HUDSON' (Channel 4), he tells the heart-wrenching minute-by-minute story of the flight that crash landed on the river in New York City.

In 'TSUNAMI: TEN YEARS ON' (Smithsonian/Channel 4), Marc told the emotional story of the survivors of the devastating Indian Ocean disaster.

And in DART, Marc shot and directed a film based on Alice Oswald's award-winning book-length poem.
