Over the past twenty years, Pat has produced hundreds of hours of ratings-winning, commercially successful television for major broadcasters around the world. Along the way, he has won numerous accolades including two RTS awards, two National TV Awards and two BAFTA nominations.

Pat’s prodigious non-scripted output spans fact ent; motoring; rig shows; competition formats; sports; access docs; property; adventure; gardening; food; scripted reality; makeovers and feature docs.    

Pat is very much a ‘hands-on’ Exec and is as comfortable managing multi-camera crews on location as he is overseeing numerous edit suites. He specialises in writing voice-over scripts and has often worked as a script-polisher and trouble-shooter on shows that are struggling to find their way in the edit.    

Not only a programme maker, Pat did a stint in advertising and has also operated at the sharp end of the TV business. As a founding partner of the production company Knickerbockerglory, he was instrumental in developing and pitching the firm’s slate of programmes, and has a hard-won knowledge of the commercial and editorial pressures facing Indies today.
