The 5 Stern & Wild film-makers in line for an Emmy
The Emmys will be awarded in September, and five Stern & Wild people will see if their productions get the prize. But Tom Beard knows already that the award is his - Tom directed Apple+ feature The Year The Earth Changed, and he will pick up the 15th Television Academy Honors trophy for exceptional television programs that are impacting society through thoughtful, powerful, and innovative storytelling. He shares the award with executive producers Alice Keens-Soper and Mike Gunton.
Robin O’Sullivan was series producer and now is executive producer of Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy which is in line for a slew of Emmy categories, including Outstanding Hosted Non-Fiction Series or Special. That production team included edit directors Archie Powell and Helen Nixon.
But the Tucci series faces serious competition in the Outstanding Hosted Non-Fiction Series or Special category from The World According to Jeff Goldblum, on which Karen McGann worked across 8 episodes.
We wish them all an armful of gilt on September 12th.
