Celebrated filmmaker Rajesh Thind joins Stern & Wild

We are delighted to announce that award-winning director and producer Rajesh Thind has joined Stern & Wild and will be represented by agency founder Moray Coulter.

Rajesh has over 20 years’ experience creating dramas and premium single documentaries and series, first coming to prominence with his critically acclaimed comedy film Travels with My Beard (BBC, 2006) which was made in response to the 7/7 London terror attacks. In 2007, he helped launch Why Democracy?, which saw 10 one-hour films focused on contemporary democracy and its underlying values broadcast as part of the world’s largest-ever informational media event which involved 48 broadcasters airing the films across over 180 countries.

Other notable projects include the feature docs This World: The Children of the Revolution (BBC, 2012), a Best Feature finalist at the Rory Peck Awards, and Buena Vista Social Club: Adios (2015), where he worked alongside Wim Wenders and Lucy Walker. Rajesh’s most recent credits include the RTS and Broadcast award nominated Italia 90: Four Weeks That Changed the World (Sky, 2023) and Defiance: Fighting the Far Right (Channel 4, 2024), which was nominated for a Grierson and Broadcast award and won the Best Documentary prize at the 2024 ACTA Awards.
