Stern & Wild filmmaker joins the Grierson Trust Board

We are thrilled to announce that the Grierson Trust has appointed Stern & Wild client Toby Trackman as one of six new Trustees to its Board.

Toby is a Grierson-winning, BAFTA and RTS-nominated director, known for his beautifully crafted, cinematic approach to storytelling. His recent credits include the RTS-nominated music docuseries Camden and the landmark feature documentary The Last Musician of Auschwitz which was a centrepiece of the BBC’s commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the camp in January and is set for a theatrical release in May.

The Board is responsible for setting the strategy and policies of the Grierson Trust. Trustees are involved in candidate interviews for the Grierson DocLab training schemes and the judging of the annual Grierson Awards. They serve for a maximum of six years (two three-year terms).

The other new Trustees are Editor and Edit Consultant Zeb Achonu; Derren Lawford, founder of independent production company DARE Pictures; Rick Murray, CEO of Workerbee Group; Oli Harbottle, Chief Content Officer of independent film distributor Dogwoof; and Netflix Production Executive Jessica Ross. Toby and fellow appointees Zeb Achonu, Derren Lawford and Rick Murray join as Trustees this month, while Oli Harbottle and Jessica Ross take up their roles in December, when two of the existing Trustees come to the end of their two terms on the Board.
