Epic mountain-climbing adventure doc co-directed by Stern & Wild’s Matt Pycroft set to debut today

The thrilling feature documentary The Devil’s Climb premieres on Nat Geo in the US today and will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu from tomorrow. The film follows the gruelling journey of world-class rock climbers Alex Honnold (star of the Oscar-winning doc Free Solo) and Tommy Caldwell as they travel 2,600 miles by bicycle, sailboat and on foot through the American West, Canada and Alaska to attempt the first-ever single-day traverse of all five peaks of the Devil's Thumb massif. The doc is Matt Pycroft’s second project filming Alex Honnold. It is produced by UK indie Plimsoll Productions. Renan Ozturk is director with Matt as co-director and Drew Pulley as edit director.
