Shout out to UK nominees and winners at this year’s International Emmy Awards

Stern & Wild filmmaker Duncan Coates was in New York this week for the 2024 International Emmy Awards Gala where his Netflix docuseries Robbie Williams was nominated in the Arts Programming category. Duncan was the Showrunner on the three-part series while fellow Stern & Wild client Sally Brindle was Series Producer. The project is the first unscripted production from Ridley Scott’s RSA Films.

Duncan was joined at the ceremony by director Joe Pearlman and members of the crew, who all had a great time despite being pipped to the prize by HBO’s Polish feature doc on the International Chopin Piano Competition Pianoforte. There were four UK winners on the night including Baxter: Not a F***ing Horror Story (Story Films / Archface Films / Sky Documentaries) which was awarded the International Emmy for best Documentary and Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story (North One / Disney+) which won the International Emmy for best Sports Documentary.
