Stern & Wild client’s series on musical giant in the running for a 2024 Rose d’Or prize

Congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Melanie Fall, Series Producer of the brilliant three-part drama documentary Mozart: Rise of a Genius which has been nominated for a 2024 Rose d’Or Award in the Arts category. Produced by 72 Films for the BBC, the series explores the life and work of legendary composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, charting his journey from child prodigy and high-society darling to rebellious outsider who revolutionised the world of music. Narrated by Juliet Stevenson, it combines expert commentary, dramatic re-enactments and performances of some of Mozart’s key works. Contributors include Adjoa Andoh, Stephen Fry, Ed Gardner, Sheila Hancock and Richard E Grant.

We are thrilled for Melanie and the whole team behind this landmark production. Rose d’Or Awards are currently given to outstanding productions across 13 categories in television, audio and online programme-making in addition to three individual prizes.
