New award for Stern & Wild client’s thrilling conservation doc!

Huge congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Miles Blayden-Ryall and the whole team behind the fantastic feature doc Silverback, winner of the Best Natural History or Environmental Documentary prize at Wednesday’s Grierson Awards.

Miles directed, filmed and edited the 90-minute film which follows wildlife cameraman Vianet Djenguet as he joins the effort to protect the critically endangered eastern lowland gorillas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The film previously netted a trio of prizes at the 2023 Jackson Wild Media Awards, winning the Grand Teton award; the People & Nature, Long Form award; and the On Screen Personality award (Vianet Djenguet). We are absolutely thrilled about this latest win.
