French road trip with iconic TV duo kicks off tonight
Congratulations to Stern & Wild’s Leo McCrea, whose brilliant new travelogue series reuniting Men Behaving Badly stars Neil Morrissey and Martin Clunes launches tonight on U&Gold.
A quarter of a century on from appearing in the hit 90s BBC sitcom, the TV stars appear on screen together again in Neil & Martin's Bon Voyage. The three-part series sees Neil Morrissey take Martin Clunes on a road trip through France, the country that has become his second home. The pair will travel from Normandy, through the Alps to Neil's home and cider apple orchard in the South as they reminisce on a professional and personal relationship that has spanned 30 years. The two friends discuss the trip in a fun interview for the Guardian here.
The series was commissioned for UKTV by Kirsty Hanson, Senior Commissioning Editor, Factual and Factual Entertainment, with Helen Nightingale, Head of Factual and Factual Entertainment Commissioning, and ordered by Adam Collings, Director of Programming, Factual and Factual Entertainment, and Hilary Rosen, Director of Commissioning. It is produced by Expectation, with Ben Wicks as Executive Producer, Lucy Evans as Series Producer and Harry Forte as Producer. Leo is the Director. It was developed by Amy Dallmeyer and Owen Braben.
The first episode airs on U&Gold at 9:00pm tonight.
